|Good chapter. The sequences at the orphanage were quite touching, especially when the little boy asked Hermione to take him home with her, and also the revelation that her war injuries had rendered her unable to carry a pregnancy to term. Severus' recollection about growing up neglected was rather a tear-jerker too. You have a light touch with pathos, which makes it all the more poignant. All of the memories, good and bad, are gradually bringing the two of them together. Well done.|

Author's Response: You've been busy. But look at it this way, now you get two at the same time. Thanks for reading!

|Aaaarrrrggghhhhh!!!! You wonderful yet evil cliff-hangerer! I absolutely love your story. Haven't read many from Snape's POV and you are doing this one beautifully. Can't wait for the next chapter. How many are you planning to write?
Must say also that you are doing a great job of keeping them both in character rather than turning them into carbon copies of each other. Bravo! How many galleons can I bribe you with to write faster? |
Author's Response: Thanks for reading. And I could use some extra Galleons at the moment if you really want to bribe me. ;-)

|Did he miss something? I do so wonder if Draco would allow himself to be cared after in such a horrid place. Perhaps he was to dog on the porch or perhaps the matron just sends on the money for her "fair share" of it...|
Author's Response: You shall see. Answers are coming soon. Thanks for reading!

|Severus Snape! How could you miss your moment? Well, I do appreciate the fact that you cut Hermione's speech mid-sentenece. This way, we have more story! ;-D |
Forgive this silly, incomprensible review. I'm a little tired, and I've had too much caffeine as a way to counter the fatigue. Anyway, to the point Sophie! Loved the chapter. You captured Hermione so well - her indignation about the orphans was perfect! (Though I have to admit that I'm a little evil; the first thing I thought when you described the orphans was the orphans on the Simpsons: "Three walls aren't enough!")
But I'm most impressed with your Severus. He's the right mixture of restraint and sentiment. I loved that he stared down the orphan who considered hugging him, and yet he also pledged to help get them into better situations. That fits well with the Snape I'd like to think is canon (but who the hell knows what that is anymore?;-D).
Hope you're doing well, and thanks for a lovely chapter. Just what I needed after several long days! ;-D
All the best,
Author's Response: Hehe I love the Simpsons! I'm so glad you liked Snape in this chapter. He's a tricky one, and I'm always worried about balancing the more fluffy and angsty aspects while still keeping him snarky and mean. As always thanks for reading!

|WONDERFUL, wonderful!! I love this, and I do hope that Hermione will regain her memories soon.. And that Severus will punish whoever did this to her!! |
Author's Response: Thank you Becky. As for Hermione getting her memories back and Severus getting revenge....well, you'll just have to wait and see!

|I just hope Hermione will get her memories back soon...I hate to see them like this...I know they are getting closer but still...It's a great story!|
Author's Response: She won't be getting them back too terribly soon but they will be getting closer. Thanks for reading!
