Lovely! I had my reservations when I realized that it was a poem; but I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on it. I particularly liked your inclusion of that infamous phrase at the end--especially since you managed to use it without making it seem contrived at all. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks for taking a chance! Glad you enjoyed it, Starkeen. :-) |

That was great. I've never read a PWP in verse, but I might just have to say that I almost prefer it this way. I'm not a big fan on PWP anyway, but I stumbled across this one and thought I'd try it out. Good job.
Author's Response: Thank you, Lady Laurelin. I don't know the first thing about writing PWP, so I tried to disguise the fact by putting it in rhyme. I'm not a big fan of the genre, either. :-)

I finally found the time to review this and must say that I am most impressed and awed that you could transform such a thing into poetry. Very delightful! To me, it doesn't matter that the metre might be off here and there, it is very fun to read! And such a sweet, sort of sad, ending. I don't think I will eat candy for awhile without thinking of this.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I experimented with different syllable counts per line and found that the long lines made it read more like a story. But it also made it much more difficult to get every line perfectly smooth, especially when some of the lines contain middle as well as end rhymes. |

Clever *and* smutty! I enjoyed this immensely. :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you could appreciate it on more than one level! :-) |

Oh, yes, I am aware that I reviewed, but as I did so I noticed this review:
"But "hasty" and "pasty" definitely do not rhyme. Pasty rhymes with nasty." AHHHH!!!
If people are going to leave a "negative" comment, can't it be one that is actually relevant? As you mentioned, there were rhymes that didn't work out, but this silly person mentions one that does? I hope you had a good laugh at this person's foolishness. I had to comment on it because my stupidity allowance for the day is spent. I thought people on this site were all intelligent until I read that review! I'm so sorry!
Elizabeth (Sigh, again)
Author's Response: Thank you, happilyjaded. I always try to remember to count to ten before I respond to a review. I find it helps. :-)
I appreciate your support. |

Upon reading your little fic, I felt compeled to be sick. If only I had the love of such a man, my dreams of orgasms and sweets would come out of the can. A pity it had to end, but we shall see you around the bend. I thought it fitting to take some time, and come up with a review that had to rhyme. There is something so sweet in limerick prose, something about how all it all just flows. Thanks Vocalion for sharing your story, now I bask forever in your glory! Regards, Elizabeth
Author's Response: Thank you for this! All reviews are most appreciated, but one in rhyme is particularly a pleasure to receive. Many thanks! |

This was by far the most entertaining piece of smut I've read this week. My particular favorite was the line about the Basilisk. :-D Very clever.
Author's Response: Thank you. That's lovely to hear. I don't know the first thing about writing smut, but I thought I'd sneak over here and have a bit of fun with the genre. My main story at Occlumency is PG-13. :-) |

I loved it and it is very amusing! Thank you for writing it.
Author's Response: Thank you, droxy! :-) |
