Reviews for A Choice of Roads

Oooo, what a perfect cliffhanger! ^^ I can just imagine the next chapter: "Why, yes, of course there was a perfectly logical reason that Remus saw me eating dinner with Severus over the weekend. Severus asked me out to eat. Are there any more questions, or was that the entire reason that I was invited over for the evening?" *laughs* I /adored/ this chapter! 14 pages of goodness, filled with plenty of Severus/Hermione fluff. ^^ I keep expecting Hermione to get caught by the management and thrown out without so much as a recommendation... *winces* Poor girl. What /can/ she do with her significant other rooming at the place where she works?

I like the gentleness of this story; very soothing to read. Please don't make it too lemony at the end as it would rather break the mood the rest of the story has set. I love lemons but sometimes implied is better than explicit! Love Severus-Crow!

AARGH! you are an evil author for stopping at this point...Harry is being a bit overbearing. Why does he have the right to demand "I want to hear it right now"? Hermione gently let him know that she was not interested in him so he has no reason to be so demanding of her. I am enjoying this story greatly. I had seen it before, but never got around to reading it. I'm glad I decided to now. It is well written and emotionally involving. I like that both SS and HG are animagi. It fits them both. I like that they are at ease with each other despite the rocky background. I like the possessive nature of SS. It is well done. Please update again soon. I anxiously await your next chapter.

For me, reading has always been an immersive experience; the better the tale, the more complete the experiece is. Sometimes I'm fortunate enough to find a story that is so well written that all the details come together to form a living, breathing picture in my imagination, as if I were attending my own private movie screening. You tell an excellent tale, and you have an artistic flair with words. Your vivid imagination paints a picture so well that the details fill themselves in naturally. If you would master your grammar as well as you have mastered the evocative aspects of writing, you could consider professional writing as a potential endeavor. Poor grammar in an otherwise well-told story is like having a glitch in the soundtrack of an otherwise enthralling movie... you have to pause to try to figure out what was just said, reverse slightly to go back over it, then, once you've puzzled the confusing bit out, you have to give yourself some time to sink back into the story. When the grammar is exceedingly bad, it doesn't matter how great the story could potentially be, because working out what the author was trying to say becomes too distracting and annoying for the reader to enjoy it at all. Your grammar isn't as bad as that, but it is distracting to the point of detracting from the general enjoyment of the story. Your storytelling skills are superb, so were you to work on your grammar, you could stand a real chance of making a name for yourself in the literary world. One other thing... since when did Harry and Ron become such spiteful control freaks? They don't seem to be very true to character here, and while you've done a masterful job of developing Hermione and Severus's characters, Harry and Ron seem to be awfully one-dimensional, basically serving their roles as the ugly step-sisters with little other depth or drive to their personalities. Overall, your story has been a truly pleasurable read, and I eagerly look forward to your next chapters. Thank you very much!

Oh boy! I''m looking forward to reading Hermione's reaction. You write extremely well- and this story is exactly how I can imagine our favorite duo's romance taking place. Please update soon!
