Hermione needs to go smackdown on Harry and Ron. Both are acting like total gits- which means they have taken over Snape's old role. However I doubt our heroine will do so maybe Remus and Snape can take care of the problem in a really Slytherin way. Either way I cannot wait. You have many loyal fans for a good reason- your stuff doesn't suck- rather it is consistently brilliant. Thanks

Wonderful. I don't think that Harry was too ooc, he seems to be rather the impetuous type, doesn't he. I love this Snape, sure of himself, unsure, still himself, but realizing that the walls keep out the good as well as the bad. I can't wait for more :) Samantha

Woohoo! Another update at last (and another refreshing little sip of lemon-aid for me)! Mmmmmm, Unresolved Sexual Tension -- work it, work it! All I can say about Harry is...talk about a dog in the manger! Ooooh, I want to grab him -- that prat! -- by the lapels and shake him 'til his teeth rattle in his head for treating Hermione like that. He's a fool if he's willing to let selfishness stand in the way of their friendship like this -- I only hope maybe Ron can do something to set him straight...

Please have no lack of confidence in your skills as a writer, nor in what you have created here. You have brought to life a lovely, perfectly-balanced HP world in which two very in-character folk fall gently in love, and several very in-character immature self-centered bozos act like the "bohunks" they are (it's a Southern term for "that" kind of man). And the love scenes, with the promise of things to come when Hermione visits Severus' home....gee it's getting awfully hot in here for February, even in the South! Now where did my hubby go? (grin)

I only just discovered this story today, and read the whole thing through. I am absolutely enchanted with it! It reminds me of that joke: How do porcupines make love? Very carefully! Of course, your tale is far more sweet than that pitiful little joke. You have a lovely touch with how people think/feel when in Animagus form. It was big fun to read, and I am anxious for more! :)

Yay for big updates! Hermione reacted much better than I would have, but then she's usually the reasonable one. Harry sounded like the OotP Harry; I think he would have reacted poorly to Hermione seeing anyone, although of course her seeing Snape makes it worse. It sounds like Remus is coming to grips, so maybe he can get Harry & Ron straightened out. I'm glad to hear that you will continue this story. I'm really enjoying the way it's going, even though we all know the eventual ending thanks to Hermione's salve experience.

It occurred to me that if HG's friends continue to fight her on this, it will drive her into SS arms even more, for one reason is that she's stubborn and bossy. Perhaps, Lupin will wise up to that fact. Nice long chapter, and no OOC ness. Don't pull out your hair, there is no need to do that.
