| Oh, that was really sweet. And it wasn't fluffy, sickeningly, syrupy sweet, but gentle and spontaneously playful and romantic. I like the game of chase they played and the cuddle in the meadow. It's nice to see the slow transistion Severus has had to finally realize there is no weakness in love, only strength. I would be disappointed if this scene went straight into lemons, as Hermione is going slow, as girls who have never had a really *serious* relationship are prone to do, and Severus is hesitent, not wanting to frighten her and to take things slow, savouring the slow consumption of her innocence. I like the slowness, it makes the anticipation all that much more intense and delectable. On to the question part of our review... How much longer will Hermione be working at the retreat? When will Severus and Hermione go out on a proper 'romantic' date? Is Hermione going to have to take the lead and let Severus know she's willing to get morephysically intimate or will his resolve break from her alluringness and he seduces her (by her permission of course)? Will anyone at the retreat discover thier little affair? Will Hermione's boss be used over it and fire her or will they be able to keep it a secret for a while longer? As always, another fabulous chapter with great character development. | |||

| I just enjoy the way you write Severus and Hermione (especially Severus) in this story. His absolute refusal to ever be anything but curmudgeonly is too funny, as evidenced by his last remark about the ground being uncomfortable. Thanks for writing! ~"~ | |||

| Oh, what a beautifully romantic chapter! I love how they played chase with each other in their animal forms. And their snuggle on the blanket was just so sweet! As much as I’d like to see weekly or even daily updates, I will gladly wait for months as long as the chapters are as wonderful as this one was. Thanks for sharing. | |||

| Nice. I think your portrayal of Snape is very very good. Hermione as well. I love it that he is still not completely at ease, but getting there. Also the fact of Hermione is so naive about those things. The only thing that is really a bit off is the scene, i mean secluded garden complete with bubbling brook? A bit fairytale-ish, and considering Snape's life, he has never had that kind of luck. Why does it start now? And I'm curious, why call it lemons? I would think banana would be more appropriate. | |||
