| I'm so glad that you planned to continue this story in spite of HBP. I gather that some authors decided to give up on their stories altogether because they're so disappointed, as we no doubt all are to at least some extent -- I was in a blue funk for several days afterward! For myself, however, I'm of the opinion that JKR might not yet have given us the last word with relation to Severus's loyalties. The beginning of this chapter reminded me of that picture somewhere on Illusions which shows Severus fast asleep with his head in Hermione's lap -- I think it's very sweet. Severus isn't someone who trusts other people readily (with some reason), but I think it augurs very well for their relationship that he already trusts her enough to fall asleep in her arms. I do rather hope, however, that you're not planning to depict every day of the next three weeks in a separate chapter, otherwise this will be a very long story indeed! I'm curious to see Lavender's reaction to the news that Hermione is dating Severus, especially since she's the one who prompted Hermione to think about it in the first place. |
