Stories that were written between book 6 & 7 are always extra interesting. Seeing how individuals related to certain HBP events is fascinating.

I know it has been several years since you wrote this marvelous blend of the Bard and HP but I wanted to tell you how much I still enjoy it. Your changes from the HP canon didn't bother me (after all Shakespeare made alterations to his source material when he found it convenient to make it fit the political climate or the way he wanted the story to go). You also managed to borrow from several of my favorite plays and scenes, particularly those from Richard III and Hamlet. Thank you for the preface and footnotes. I found them educational and quite entertaining (but I suppose I am a geek that way). Lastly, I found myself seeing a production of the play in my mind's eye as I read the script aloud. Would you believe that I was seeing it as a groundling in the replica of the Globe Theater? In any case, bravo!

Oh, wow! I love this! I've been into Elizabethan plays since middle school and this is AWESOME! Well done.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind review.

So sorry to quibble, but I'm not sure I understand your note about Shakespearean "be" verbs. Shakespeare uses "are," "was" and "were." For example: Macbeth I,7 Was the hope drunk Wherein you dress'd yourself? hath it slept since? And wakes it now, to look so green and pale At what it did so freely? Hamlet I,2 Frailty, thy name is woman!- A little month, or ere those shoes were old With which she followed my poor father's body Like Niobe, all tears- Lear I,1 Peace be with Burgundy! Since that respects of fortune are his love, I shall not be his wife. Did I misunderstand?

Author's Response: You are quite right. But my betas had some difficulty understanding, so i decided to make things 'consistent' to save them the headache. thank you for reviewing.

I am seriously impressed. I still don't like the whole preface thing though, it just kinda grates. It reminds me of those introductions in books that I still think are totally unnecessary. But brilliant, very brilliant.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kinds.

Hmm. Some interesting theories, though you sound rather too confident in some of your assertions for my taste, and your prose style is a little pompous! Also, I'm sure there are "purists who see that the book should be left as it is," but I don't think you'll find many of those on a fanfiction site! I am, nevertheless, intrigued by your outline, so I'll see how I find the next chapter...

Author's Response: to each his own

Fabulous. What an innovative fanfic; your guesses as to the future plot of HP were intriguing and some of them coincided with some of my own (always nice to know that I’m not alone), the metre and structure shows a great deal of care in the crafting, and finally the snippets from Shakespeare (lovely pieces from A&C and the apt “engend’ring of toads” and stagnant pool from MfM) were a delight to discover throughout. Thank you; it’s been a highly enjoyable read.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this piece. I consider this my opus, However, alas - it has been panned as a work of my vanity. Perhaps it is, but no matter. My Shakespeare and Webster were a little rusty when i wrote it... that's why i very proud this turned out well. Thanks for the review.

I stumbled upon this story quite randomly and intrigued, I simply had to read something that combined two of my favourite things into one story. It was a delight to read your play. It is a beautiful, well-written piece of work and I enjoyed every minute of it. Keep up the writing, you are very talented!

Author's Response: Thank you. There are often mixed reviews to my work, so i'm very glad you liked it...
