Not a bad parody at all! You didn't even need to reference "unleaved"--it seemed clear to me, without it. Well done. Even though you did this years ago, it deserves a bright new "10": here! |

So sad! But I still liked it. |

Oh I really liked this! I memorized the original for English awhile back, and I love how this one has the same feel.
What I really like is that it still sounds like it could be spoken, at least to me. That the whole poem comes out like spoken words....or that is how I hear it.
Great job! |

That's so hot!!! : )
Author's Response: LOL - the fact they're having a steamy affair and get caught by the whole staff? Definitely. |

On a second reading, this poem inspired me to review. It's a good parody, and as I first read it fairly soon after discovering this 'ship, I can appreciate it much more now. Excellent work. Kudos to you.
Author's Response: Aww - you read it twice (blush). Glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun little piece to write. (Especially since poetry is not my forte). |

It's well written. I like very much the sadness to it. It brings some emotion to the surface. I highly encourage you to write more!
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it! In fact, I just finished writing a new piece based on Browning's "Porphyria's Love" and it should be up soon if the Admins like it . |

Oh I loved it! What a brilliant take on the poem and the fact that Snape is a ghost. Pure genious! Can't wait to check out more from you! And it's one of my fave poems!

Author's Response: Thank you for your enthusiastic review! = ) I was worried about tampering with such a lovely poem, but it just begged to be written - so I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Isn't Snape as a ghost just an absolutely perfect idea? If anyone deserved to be a ghost after death, it is definitely Severus. What an unhappy man! |
